Keeping up the tradition of learning through hands-on activity, students of Grade I C made clocks using paper plates and numbers from calendar cut-outs. This activity helped them learn the concepts of ‘o’clock’ and ‘half past’ in time. Learning to read time through craft activity! Wow!
Students of Grade I C did this interesting activity of throwing the dice and subtracting the number from the given number.
The curiosity to know the number that comes up kept the students interested.
The activity was done in groups. Students enjoyed learning subtraction in this fun way.

Hands-on activity is an integral part of the learning methods at Ekya. Students of Grade I C made models of the Earth with play dough to understand better and demonstrate the concepts of rotation and revolution. They also learnt the meanings of the colours used in Geography through this activity, using blue to represent water and brown to indicate land.
