Celebrating 69 years of freedom, saw the youngest citizens at Ekya ITPL keeping up to its ideal of “Swachch Bharat” through the Design Thinking Showcase. Doing away with the traditional song and dance routine, we at Ekya ITPL went one step ahead in making the dream of the Father of the Nation into something more concrete and viable.
Students of Grades 5 to 11 worked on a project – Waste Management and Garbage – being the theme. They went through a rigorous routine of Brainstorming, problem solving, making prototypes over a period of four weeks and finally presented their work to an audience of proud parents and teachers.
An exhibition was also organised for our Primary section, which reinforced the concept of “Best out of waste”. There were tires remodeled into elegant furniture and paper recycled into interesting artifacts, wall hangings and many more beautiful objects.
