As the famous quote goes, “EVERYDAY IS A CHANCE TO LEARN SOMETHING NEW”.
After pondering for a long time and introspecting myself, I realized that I consider myself a sponge. Just as the sponge absorbs a lot of water, I get soaked in learning new things. I love to seek and learn anything new and interesting; be it art, music, or fitness, everything excites me, and the best of me is seen, when I am wrung out, reflecting all my abilities. It is rightly said ‘Never stop learning because life never stops teaching”.
With a pinch of positive attitude and enthusiasm, one can achieve the greatest things by keeping their mind open to new opportunities.
As I had the opportunity to learn and teach at a young age, I was blessed to work with the children. Children constantly showed me how beautiful and amazing things in life can be done. If we all could see the world through the eyes of a child, we would see the magic in everything.
A child can teach us 3 things- to be happy, busy, and curious. We know that the future belongs to the curious. It belongs to the ones who are not afraid to try, explore, and question it. One should be ready to take that risk.
When you are curious, you find a lot of interesting things to do. I see the child in me when it comes to learning, exploring, and experimenting. Today I’m proud to be an educator. I can appreciate, teach, and be curious to see the magic around me.
Travel has been another important part of my life. It brings change, broadens your mind, and opens your heart. In my travel experiences, I’ve seen a lot of change. Change is important, it’s an opportunity to grow and learn life skills. Change is the mindset to accept and appreciate others.
In my professional career, abroad or in India, I always wanted to make a difference in children. One such experience is when I worked as a primary teacher. I challenged myself to change a few students who were unnoticed and needed that attention. Simple gestures of compassion and awareness make all the difference. Making sure that such students are allowed to be motivated helps them in building their self-esteem and confidence.
As Dalai Lama rightly said. “When educating the minds of your youth, we must not forget to educate your heart”. Motivate yourself to reach that enthusiasm.
Life is a magnet. What you give is what you attract. I’m thankful to a lot of people who have inspired me in my life’s journey. I believe that everyone can be a role model with that special quality hidden in them. All you need is to take some time to think and appreciate yourself for what you learned in life and don’t stop there!! You need to educate yourself, give back, and spread happiness around.
