Puppets are a great way to not only engage and entertain but also to convey values and teach life skills. The students of Ekya experienced an energetic and fun-filled session of “Storytelling with puppets” with Ms.Swati Kakodkar, Founder & Storyteller at StorykiBory conducted on 29 July 2020.
- Few stories narrated were:
-The Green Caterpillar who is sad because he is green. Does he stay unhappy? How does his
life change?
– What’s in Fox’s Sack – a thrilling story with a variety of interesting characters, including an
old woman who cleverly tricks the sly and greedy fox.
– Uwungalema -The tortoise who teaches us that we can remember things better when we practice, in the African tale “Uwungalema”.
