The students of Grade 7 Ekya JP Nagar had a classroom activity on sandwich making. This was a group activity where the children shared the work, learnt how to work in a group and help each other in the right way.
The students also had to write a paragraph about the activity. Our students thoroughly enjoyed the activity and relished their sandwiches too!
Here is a sample writing by one of our students – Pragya
Travel Brochure on Wildlife sanctuary/ National park
The students of Grade 8 made a travel brochure on any one wildlife sanctuary or national park. The purpose of the activity was to familiarize them with various sanctuaries and national parks of India.
In the process they understood the role of government in conservation of natural vegetation and wildlife. Also awareness for the need to conserve our rich heritage of natural resources was enhanced.
It was a great learning experience and also they came up with great creative and innovative ideas. Great work done! Keep up the good work.

Every child whether naughty, studious, obedient , shy or brilliant has done this one thing for sure in their life time , at least once if not more. We've all made paper planes perhaps competed too to see whose flies better. 10th of July was an excitement filled day for the students of grades V, VI and VII as they were going to see something they have been making with papers, not one but many, not just the ones they've boarded to travel but fighter planes & choppers - the ones involved in real action at LOC. The students along with teachers and a guide explored the HAL Heritage Museum on the 10th of July. The visit included several large galleries. Various halls in the gallery presented the achievement and proud history of HAL in a chronological order from the time of its inception to recent times. A documentary was also screened for the students. The documentary talked about models of air-crafts, their manufacturing, functioning, contribution in civil/ defense areas and about the dedicated crew behind the success of HAL. The students also saw life size models of air-crafts from different eras which were on display. It was an awesome experience for the students which filled the hearts of the students with ambitions soaring high to the sky.
Returning back to school the bus was abuzz with discussion of planes, Indian Air Force, HAL and many dreams to be achieved.
Here are some the clicks from the happening trip.
