Drawing, colouring and painting are mediums of expression for a child. Children’s creativity, imagination, fine motor and observation skills are developed through it.
On 12th February 2016, Friday, the little ones at Ekya, ITPL had an opportunity to exhibit these skills. Each one showcased their art with great pride.
Students of Grade I B and I C learnt the concept of repetitive addition through a wonderful activity using pieces of straw.
The activity entailed grouping the straws and sticking them with the number given.
The students understood the concept better since they got to do it themselves. What a wonderful way to learn Maths!
