Nature is not a place to visit, it is HOME.
Nature is the art of God. It is the greatest creation and us humans still remain in awe of it. Green trees, majestic mountains and gurgling streams are just a few of Earth’s marvellous landforms. Throughout the Earth, animals lurk. In spite of marvelling at nature’s beauty, we treat it very badly. What we do not realise is that nature is our home, and it’s the only one we’ve got.
Pranati Singhania of Grade 5 illustrates the beauty of nature and all that it possesses in her poem “Nature is our home.”
Swaying of the trees
Ccrmpl-ccrmpl-ccrmpl,
Whistling of the air
Hhheeeewwww,
Crunching of the dry leaves
Crunch-crunch-crunch,
Nature is wild like a bear
Grrooowwl!
Nature is a house for
Trees with flowers and fruits and leaves
Nature is a house for insects
Resting and playing in the fields
Nature is a house for birds
Tweeting in the sunshine and flying around
Nature is beautiful like my home
Except it is green,
I wonder how this happens?
Nature is beautiful like a queen!
