Art and love are the same things: It’s the process of seeing yourself in things that are not you.”

Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.”

Children from Ekya School BTM visited MAP Education Centre in Bangalore. They attended a specially curated exhibition and intensive workshop drawn from the collection of the museum. This was designed to suit participants in the age group of 7 to 11 years. Leveraging the potential of encounters with artworks to discover and articulate compelling questions, it provoked the curiosity of our children and helped them strengthen their thinking in arts and beyond.

The workshop was an interactive two hour session that used games, stories, and interactive discussions to foster observation, curiosity, self-confidence and communication in children.
Students enjoyed the activities and also the pre-art kit that they had already explored at school gave them a better insight into the world of art and also helped them understand the importance of promoting art through museums.
This activity enabled the students to invoke their ideas about one big idea that they shared while going ahead with the pre-activity kit.
On the whole the visit was worth its value and beheld all the beauty it claims of.
