Another colorful, energetic morning dawned at Ekya, JP Nagar campus on Saturday, February 15th. The classrooms were carefully decked up with worksheets, artworks and class assignments. The library walls were decorated with the exploits of the young readers during the Reading week.
The art room looked spectacular with a vibrant dash of colors and creative artifacts beckoning the visitors from every corner. Yes, we do like to demonstrate what we have learned across the term in a lively way. After all, that was the best way to acquaint parents with the learning that takes place on campus on regular school days. Soon after the parents dropped in one after another for a quiet chat with their child’s teacher.
Students who had enrolled for co-curricular activities like basketball, karate, Bharatnatyam, fitness dance, and dramatics also showcased their learning to the awed audience. Before they left, the parents did not forget to pick up books for their budding readers from the book fair that was set up for this occasion.
The Learning Showcase @ Ekya:
The Learning Showcase is a display of student work and showcases how “Learning” is done at Ekya Schools. The classrooms were decorated creatively with displays of students’ classwork and school projects.
Children made presentations to the parents and took them through the process of learning at Ekya. Each learning area was explained in detail and various skills were demonstrated. Happy parents appreciated the efforts of the teachers and students for the spectacular display.
