The students of grade VIII collected a sample of stagnant water and tried to observe the microbial life in it. When the water was examined under the microscope the students and teachers were thrilled to see different types of microbes like zoo-spores and protozoans. We could observe how they moved, interacted and the way they consumed algae as food. These beautiful creatures are all around us, their microscopic size makes their presence invisible to us, “The marvel of biodiversity.”
Art and craft activities in school develop the creative skill and an aesthetic sense in students. It is an integral part of education. When children draw and make things with their own hands not only do they learn, but also enjoy what they have created.
