Mr. Karthikeyan N, Scientist at National Aerospace Laboratories, spoke to the students of the pre-primary about the Solar System- their ongoing quest topic and had an interactive session with the little ones.
The students were awestruck and their minds ignited!
Rhymes and stories are a very important factors for the development of a child. They not only help with using and understanding words but give the child an opportunity to develop an interest in these areas. Children love stories and rhymes with actions. This encourages them to be involved in group activities. In participating, we not only learn the song but the actions too. Both of which need skill and lots of concentration to put the two together at the some time.
Children at Ekya Early Years, JP Nagar had Rhymes Competition for Sub-Juniors and Juniors on 10th September 2015 and Story Telling competition for the Seniors on 11th September 2015. Children enjoyed reciting and narrating with enthusiasm. It was an amazing sight to watch these tiny tots entertaining the audience around them. Here are a few pictures of our enthusiastic participant.
