The Visual Arts Curriculum at Ekya Schools encourages students to experiment and discover new ways of making, observing, and translating an idea. It nurtures and creates a platform for the students to develop creativity, critical thinking, aesthetic knowledge and understanding the practice of the Arts, through making and responding to artworks.
Visual Arts, Performing Arts & Physical Education classes are conducted in-house after school hours for interested students who are interested. This is a stimulating and life-enhancing skills in-house program. Our in-house programstrains students for inter-school competitions.
The inhouse curriculum helps to express their individual and collective experiences by representing, expressing and communicating ideas, imagination and observations in meaningful ways. It helps them use innovative art practices with traditional and contemporary art techniques to express and represent ideas, while displaying empathy for multiple viewpoints.
