At Ekya, school clubs are for the students, of the students and by the students with guidance from teachers and mentors. Each club carries has its own dedicated objective and provides students with opportunities to identify and nurture their unique talents.
The Environment clubs at Ekya are partnered with Reap Benefit, a program with aim to create Leaders for Environmental Awareness and Protection (L.E.A.P) among our students. The club gives them the platform they need to make their contributions towards preserving the environment. Promoting a clean and green consciousness across all stakeholders, the club members ensure employment of effective waste management within the campus and the neighbouring community. The club educates students about gardening and its importance – they learn techniques, floral designs and are taught the concept of reduce, reuse and recycle.

The club aims to foster a love for language, enhance literary creativity and provide an avenue for self-expression beyond the school curriculum. In addition to driving the schools’ Editorial board, the club focuses on honing the literary skills of students. It inspires students to develop a taste for literature and also work in the direction of enhancing the students’ spoken and written language. The club hosts a variety of activities with the aim to build up the confidence and groom the schools’ talents for interpersonal activities and competitions.
This club works towards identifying the sporting talent at our schools. Sportsmanship lies at the heart of this club as it drives students to be their best on the field, providing opportunities at inter and intra competitions. Through the club, the school’s talent have the ability to observe, analyse, judge performances of them and their peers. The club also works towards developing self-confidence and self-esteem through positive sporting experience.
The aim of the club is provide a platform for students to learn STEM Robotics, using versatile LEGO robotics kits. It enables club members to understand mechanical engineering, software development, electronics concepts and robotics principles with the right guidance and equipment.
The Quiz club at Ekya is partnered by QuizShala, organized by Walnut Knowledge Solutions. This club aims at fostering an informative, fun and fair quizzing environment for students to participate in. It trains them to conducting quality quizzes as it channelizes the interests of students in all spheres of life beyond the margins of prescribed syllabi. It inculcates a passion and thirst for quizzing thereby encouraging them to gain adequate knowledge and exposure. Students are encouraged to ask questions, think independently and form their own opinions, leading them to be outspoken and expressive, both in thought and action.
The club’s aim is to develop the debating skills of students, enabling members to work on their oration and ability to make effective argument. In addition to this, the club encourages students who want to improve the communication skills and stage presence. It provides a forum for keen debaters to practice and share their feedback. The club members work in tandem to analyse and dissect topics of discussion, select and evaluate evidences, construct and refute arguments.
The club serves as a platform for members to explore different dance forms and prepares them for inter and intra school competitions. Dance classes are organized to nurture the school’s dancing talent.
The aim of the club is to provide a platform for the school’s music talent – helping them master their skills at singing or a musical instrument and their ability to perform individually or in a group. Being an integral part of the club, the school choir performs at various school events and represents the school in various inter and intra school competitions.
The club promotes the interest of science among students. It engages its members with hands-on experiments and a supportive environment to bring their ideas to life. The aim of the club is to apply science not just within the curriculum as it connects students to the science community outside school.
Web Designing Club
This club helps students understand the significance of web as a medium of communication. Children learn the importance of creating an effective web page and also familiarize with the principles of graphic design and website analysis.
