Speech & Drama
Helen O’Grady International, the World’s Largest Drama Academy with an international presence in 40 countries is offering a Self Development Programme through a structured curriculum which uses Developmental Drama as a tool to enhance life skills amongst children. Students learn to speak clearly and relate confidently with their peers. This is a stimulating and life-enhancing skills program that helps a student to develop skills that make the journey through life much easier.
Bharatanatyam classes are conducted by trained instructors who help students gain technical proficiency.
Drums with the Notation will be taught to help students learn more about technical work such as rudiments, paradiddle, flam and drags in addition to learning another musical instrument.
Basketball coaching is conducted on campus for students of various ages. Our program trains students for inter-school competitions. In addition to Basketball, the campus provides coaching for Table Tennis and Karate. We also facilitate indoor games like Chess. Yoga is also available.
Introducing our students to the world of coding through carefully curated programs designed to take them on a journey of making and building things. They will learn the programming fundamentals through a step by step guide across different platforms such as; Scratch, Blockly, Python, etc.
Children are taught how to break down the complexity and conquer the problem-solving process through Rubik’s Cube under timed conditions. Excelsior Academy will conduct the classes and train the students with the 3×3 Rubik’s Cube variant. These classes will help our students get introduced to several algorithms to solve cubes, visualize shapes, colors and recognize patterns easily. It helps make students sharper, improves hand-eye coordination and helps to process thoughts faster.
In Dance Fitness, technique and intricate choreography are not the only focus. Students are allowed to enjoy a freestyle form of dance and sweat it out while doing their best to follow the instructor. Dance fitness classes have a focus on cardiovascular exercise.
