Mrs. Menon brings her vast experience in early childhood education to Ekya School ITPL. Having served and led premier institutions including Little Hearts, Jamshedpur, Carmel Convent and CMR National Public School in Bangalore, she is able to efficiently spearhead a team of diverse educators. As the founding head of school for Ekya School ITPL, she strongly believes in changing the conventional ways of teaching to bring about a new, modern and practical approach towards learning. Her personable charm and genuine love for children further helps in creating an environment which is conducive to learning and doing.

Mrs. Menon holds a Bachelor’s from Calcutta University and a Masters in Education from Bangalore. She has attended professional development programs hosted by CBSE and CIE. Beyond her role as a creative educator, she is an avid reader who is passionate about pets, theatre and the arts.


Mahua Bhattacharjee
Co-Curricular and Primary School Coordinator, Ekya School ITPL

Ms. Mahua Bhattacharjee is the Co-Curricular Coordinator, and the Primary School Coordinator at Ekya ITPL. She has been with Ekya for five years, and has been an educator for 7 years. She has worked as a lecturer in Mount Carmel College, and in St. Anne’s College. Ms. Mahua is passionate about creating a wonderful and balanced educational eco-system at ITPL by providing students with opportunities for high quality extracurricular activities. As a teacher, she specialized in English and history.

Ms. Mahua embodies calm and patience, and always has a thoughtful response to any question. She is a balanced and articulate person, and a passionate teacher. She holds a B.Ed in History and English, and a B.A and M.A in Sociology from Bangalore University. Ms. Mahua has an extremely friendly nature, and enjoys watching movies and travelling.

Rajini Ashok

Senior Academic Coordinator, Ekya School ITPL

Ms. Rajini Ashok is the Senior Academic coordinator at Ekya ITPL. With 13 years of experience in the scholastic environment, Ms. Rajini worked in Pune as a Trained Graduate Teacher, handling the subjects of Mathematics and Science while also being in-charge as Academics and Co-curricular coordinator. Prior to Ekya, she was the Quality Head at Whitefield Global School, Bangalore and served as the Academic Coordinator at Vydehi School of Excellence, Bangalore. At Ekya ITPL she works towards building community between students and teachers, focuses on the delivery of quality education and coordinates with other schools to implement the best practices and CCE pattern.

Ms. Rajini holds a B.Sc in Chemistry with a B.Ed in the Physical Science and Mathematics and MA in Literature. She is a state level Shuttle Badminton player and also has represented her District in Ball Badminton and Javelin. A music aficionado, Ms. Rajini plays the keyboard and guitar in her free time.

Renuka Shashikant

Having lived in Japan for 9 years, Ms. Renuka’s tryst with education began as a Business English Instructor in Tokyo, followed by her role as the academic and co-curricular coordinator at Global Indian International School, Tokyo. It was during this time that she participated in the global launch of the CBSE-international (CBSE-i) curriculum in Dubai, presided over by Mr.Kapil Sibal. Specializing in the subject of Mathematics and English with 8 years of experience behind her, Ms. Renuka set up an Abacus and Vedic Math centre in Bangalore on her return to India. At Ekya, she works as the Co-Curricular Coordinator at ITPL, and is constantly improving methods of teaching and administration. She handles all in-house and inter-school co-curricular activities for students. She holds a B. E in Electronics & Telecommunication and an M.B.A in Human Resource. An avid reader, Ms. Renuka loves to travel and plan road trips in her free time.
