Listening is the gateway to understanding and communicating and, therefore, is absolutely critical for language learners. If students are unable to listen carefully, they will miss out on important interactions both inside and outside the classroom.
Learning to listen carefully can build students’ ability and confidence in dealing with real-life situations, where they need to focus on both listening and speaking. Developing listening skills is a fun way of getting students to concentrate more and to remember information.
