Ganesha Chaturthi and Onam are important festivals celebrated in India. Celebration of festivals is important to build group cohesiveness and also to educate the students on different religions and traditions of our country. Festivals bring everyone together and break the monotony of the routine.

The Pre-primary students of Ekya School BTM layout celebrated Ganesha and Onam festival in an exorbitant way. The students created the festive atmosphere by walking into school dressed in vibrant ethnic attire. They celebrated these festivals with joy and enthusiasm. Students recited shlokas and made colorful floral rangolis. The Ganesha idol was decorated with flowers and the pooja was performed with devotion. The story behind celebrating these festivals was shared. The celebration came to an end by immersion of the idol.
