Folk dances play a significant role in rural India. It connects people. As a part of their class assembly, the students of Grade I C performed various folk dances like Kollattam, Dandiya, Gair, Laathi Nuch, Cheraw and Gatka to entrancing music. The audience were also given information about these dance forms. Here are some glimpses of this wondrous performance.
Dancing is like dreaming with your feet. There are many kinds of dance like pop craze, hip hop, ballet and classical with its own superstars.
Here at Ekya School, JP Nagar, the little superstars of Montessori lit up the stage during the dance event on 18th and 19th February. Attractive, colourful costumes and creative props filled the stage.
Children treated us to classical, hip hop, rap, fusion, patriotic and Bollywood dance.
