My favourite movie is Peter Rabbit. This movie is all about a teeny -weeny rabbit with a large family – Mommy, Daddy, two brothers and two sisters. They were a happy little family until the time their poor father saw a lovely garden from their cozy little burrow. Little did they know that this garden belonged to an evil man. The father rabbit entered the garden one day when one of his babies’ coats fell onto a pole in this garden. He went to fetch it and that spelled the end of the poor rabbit – he was never seen again.
The evil man turned poor Daddy rabbit into a rabbit pie. Mummy rabbit soon died of a broken heart when she knew that her husband was dead. It was then up to Peter Rabbit, the eldest brother to take care of his little brothers and sisters. It was indeed sad but strange, that though they were orphaned by an evil man, they still befriended human beings. And why did they befriend humans??? They did so because they realized that all humans were not unkind and selfish. It was actually a little girl who took care of the poor orphaned rabbits until the end.
I liked this movie a lot because the little rabbit was so adventurous and brave – like a Red Indian! He knew how to handle things in the proper way, but sometimes he just messed about and landed into even more trouble than he already was in. Another reason why I liked the movie was that there were many situations which showed up different emotions like happy, sad, and funny. It was really fun.
Now comes what I disliked about the movie. They were the sad scenes like when they lost their home in a bomb attack when they gazed sadly at their dead parents’ photo and a few other scenes like that. On the whole, I thought the movie to be great, a fun experience; something I would like to watch another time!

A grandparent is someone with silver in their hair and gold in their hearts...Grandparents are your partners in crime, someone who helps and loves you unconditionally. Someone who lets you do so much more than what your parents allow. They are the roots of your character and personality. Without them, life would be boring with no inspiration or story to look up to. They might seem old on the outside but have the heart of a young child. They spend most of their time with children and work tirelessly to nurture them to be well-behaved and caring youth. Most of us take them for granted but they take out time for us and we should reciprocate their time, efforts and love with our own. To ensure that the young generation values their grandparents and listen to their morals and advice, we celebrated Grandparents' Day at Ekya JP Nagar with loads of love and joy. We invited grandparents to our school to teach the young tots a little something about life and revisit their past memories. With this interactive session, we all went back in time with their captivating experiences and relished their adventurous life. The children were regaled with stories that brought out the vast difference between generations. The students couldn't imagine a life without all the gizmos, amenities and of course, the internet. While interacting with the grandparents, many of us realized that their answers were much better than what Google could ever give. It also turned out to be an interesting story-time with pictures and facts of past lifestyles. We would like to thank the grandparents to have taken time out to come to our school and interact with the Montessori students. It was truly a delightful event. After all, it is true when they say,
Grandparents are an amazing blend of laughter, caring deeds, patience, wonderful stories and LOVE ...
