At Ekya, the focus is not only on academics and physical development but equal importance is given to creativity. Here you can see our little artists at work taking part in the Colouring and Painting Competition on 12th February 2016.
Drawing, colouring and painting are mediums of expression for a child. Children’s creativity, imagination, fine motor and observation skills are developed through it.
On 12th February 2016, Friday, the little ones at Ekya, ITPL had an opportunity to exhibit these skills. Each one showcased their art with great pride.

Students of Grades IX and X from Ekya School JP Nagar visited Bharatiya Grameena Mahila Sangha, an orphanage and old age destitute home on the 29th of January 2016. The inmates of the old age home were very happy to meet the cheerful children. They spent time talking about their academics and hobbies. The students were very happy to be blessed by the ‘grandmothers’ there!
Our students also went around visiting other students in the school there and popped into their well-maintained dormitories. This trip was a great experience to help them understand the joy of giving and making others happy.
